    Job Title: Warehouse Worker- $18/hr

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Warehouse Worker where you will play a crucial role in managing our cargo operations. This position offers the opportunity to either work on the Warehouse Crew or the Ramp Crew after a 90-day period, providing flexibility and variety in your daily tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload packages from freight containers.

    + Load packages into freight containers.

    + Stage packages for pick-up from the main entity.

    + Lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.

    + Work 100% in the warehouse or split 50% outside and 50% inside depending on the role.

    + Unloading containers and loose freight from aircraft.

    + Marshalling tugs and k-loaders around aircraft.

    + Provide warehouse support once aircraft are unloaded.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in unloading, loading, warehouse, shipping, and receiving (minimum 3 months).

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in using a forklift, RF scanner, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.

    + Experience in packing, inventory management, and general production.

    + Knowledge of assembly, labeling, and order picking.

    Work Environment

     

    Work within a hanger/warehouse style environment supporting a new Amazon AIR facility. Shifts vary, with options available from late afternoon to early morning, accommodating both night owls and those preferring earlier schedules. Employees work five consecutive days with two consecutive days off, including weekends. Scheduling is based on seniority and availability, with opportunities for overtime. Employees receive an Airport SIDA Badge, and the dress code is casual yet suitable for warehouse conditions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swanton, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
