    Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician - Level II & III

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Aircraft Avionics Technicians who are passionate about aviation and eager to contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced aircraft systems. This position involves working with navigation and radio communication systems, weather radar systems, and other critical instruments that support flight and engine operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Repair, maintain, and install aircraft navigation and radio communication systems, weather radar systems, and other instruments.

    + Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to correct any malfunction or deficiencies in aircraft systems.

    + Replace components and perform maintenance with and without power applied to the aircraft.

    + Adhere to technical data, standard operating procedures, and FAA regulations during aircraft maintenance.

    + Engage in wire harness fabrication, heavy modification, and avionics installation.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues as an aircraft electrician.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft installation and troubleshooting.

    + Experience with wire harness building.

    + Eligibility for security clearance.

    + Proficiency in working within MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Military experience in Marine Corps, Air Force, or Army is preferred.

    + Experience with government contractors such as L-3, Northrop, BAE, or LHM.

    + Tools must be etched and shadowed for personal accountability.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dynamic MRO facility specializing in military ISR modifications on a variety of aircraft, including C-12 and Bombardier Global models. Enjoy a fast-paced hangar environment located at the Hagerstown Regional Airport. The job involves multiple shifts, primarily Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. The dress code is standard, with jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $44.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
