Welder – MIG / Pulse Hardwire | Structural Steel | Saint Paul, MN

**Pay:** $24–$28/hr + Overtime + Benefits

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (OT available)

**Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

Join a precision-driven team as a **Welder** specializing in **MIG welding** and **Pulse Hardwire .045** techniques on **heavy gauge steel** . You’ll work on **structural components for concrete boom trucks** , performing **ultra-sonic welds** on materials from **3/8" to 4" thick** . Every weld is **X-Rayed and certified** , so attention to detail is critical.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform **MIG welding** and **Pulse Hardwire welding** on structural steel.

+ Execute **ultra-sonic welds** on heavy materials (3/8"–4").

+ Independently handle **setups, layouts, fixtures, and fit-ups** .

+ Complete certification training for boom truck components.

+ Ensure welds meet **X-Ray and high-detail standards** .

Required Skills

+ **3+ years MIG welding** on heavy gauge steel.

+ **Blueprint reading** (1+ year).

+ Skilled in **MIG welding techniques** and **structural fabrication** .

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with **Pulse Hardwire welding** .

+ **TIG welding** knowledge is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
