Job Title: Lead Electrician

Job Description

Support the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia, ensuring quality and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

+ Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.

+ Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to fit specifications.

+ Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to resolve electrical problems.

+ Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications for accurate installations.

+ Determine the method and sequence of proposed installation for electrical fixtures and equipment, such as AC/DC motors, control panels, and PLCs.

Essential Skills

+ 5 plus years of electrical construction experience.

+ 4 plus years of experience in the commercial/data center industry.

+ Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.

+ Valid Driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5-10 years of experience as an electrician.

+ Experience on 10-50k square foot projects.

+ Experience working in data centers or mission critical facilities is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
