    Day Shift Porter Needed!

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our shopping center, ensuring that all areas are kept tidy and compliant with regulatory standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Remove tenant trash daily from service corridors and common areas.

    + Operate trash compactors, vehicles, and other equipment related to trash disposal.

    + Use a pressure washer occasionally to maintain center cleanliness.

    + Manage the removal and compaction of trash in compactor areas, including additional clean-up as needed.

    + Assist other departments, such as Marketing, by cleaning and patrolling during events.

    + Establish procedures to ensure completion of scheduled cleaning tasks in various facility areas.

    + Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with management and co-workers.

    + Perform duties in compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines to promote a safe work environment.

    + Ensure proper maintenance of inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools.

    + Report damaged or missing property, trash containers, and other issues to the supervisor.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Work Environment

     

    The position requires working outdoors, ensuring you stay active and engaged with the surroundings. The work schedule is Friday through Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a half-hour lunch break. Days off will be Wednesday and Thursday.

    This position is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
