Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery in a metal fabrication facility. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, along with your preventive maintenance skills, will be essential to maintaining productivity and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment, as well as utility-related equipment, following all safety procedures.

+ Support the installation of new equipment.

+ Assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

+ Ensure all repairs are documented in accordance with company procedures.

+ Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.

+ Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program, and hearing and eye protection policies.

+ Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of working experience as a Maintenance Technician.

+ Mechanical experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFDs, and sensors.

+ Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and tolerate a variable climate.

+ Knowledge of welding, cutting, or fabrication.

+ PLC knowledge is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
