    Job Title: TIG Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with expertise in welding thin gauge stainless steel metals. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints, performing peening processes, and assisting in assembly tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding on stainless steel metals as thin as 1/16".

    + Conduct a peening process similar to sandblasting to remove the shine from metal in a powder coating type booth for two hours per day.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.

    + Complete the assembly process as needed and assist in shipping products.

    + Utilize a thumb-controlled welder effectively.

    + Contribute to shop cleanliness by participating in weekly cleaning tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in stainless steel or sheet metal TIG welding.

    + Proficiency in welding on thin gauge metals as thin as 1/16".

    + Capability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.

    + Ability to perform peening process in a powder coating type booth.

    + Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is located in West Chester, featuring a clean and temperature-controlled environment. It is divided into assembly, welding, and shipping areas, providing ergonomic workspaces with adjustable weld tables and thumb-controlled weld guns. The team consists of approximately 5 welders and several other members, fostering a close-knit, family-like culture. Regular work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
