    Shift:

    1st shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Potential to Start at 6:00am - $20.35 an hour

     

    2nd shift Hours: 10:30a - 7:00p Potential to Start at 8:30am - $20.35 an hour Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler who must be comfortable working at heights, as training on a cherry picker forklift is required. This role involves providing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at the assigned facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.

    + Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and amount of materials received and ensuring appropriate documentation is present.

    + Operate distribution equipment as required, working under various temperature conditions including room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room environments.

    + Complete training requirements and adhere to all standards related to site Distribution, including Control of Documents and Quality Policy.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 0-2 years of related experience, preferably in logistics with a life science company.

    + Ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures, and meet schedules.

    + Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks, and ability to operate equipment at various heights.

    + Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Comfortable working at heights.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures from room temperature to cold and freezer conditions. The position requires performing highly repetitive tasks, walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs continuously, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. You may be required to handle packaged hazardous materials and work in moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility in work hours, including shifts and overtime, is necessary, along with occasional local travel.     This is a Contract position based out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.
