    Job Title: TIG Welder

    Job Description

    As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding precision sheet metal fabricated parts used in aerospace, defense, data centers, and oil and gas industries. This role involves working with a range of small to large parts, from short prototypes to medium production, and requires the ability to read from blueprints and weld on light gauge, tight tolerance cold rolled steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products. The position requires handling thin gauges ranging from 0.48, 0.25, 14 ga, to 3/8 inches, setting your own fixtures, layouts, and welding.

    Responsibilities

    + Weld precision sheet metal fabricated parts.

    + Handle small to large parts and various production ranges.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for welding tasks.

    + Weld on light gauge cold rolled steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

    + Manage thin gauges from 0.48 inches to 3/8 inches.

    + Set fixtures, layouts, and perform welding tasks independently.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG welding.

    + Experience with MIG welding.

    + Knowledge of working with aluminum, stainless steel, and cold rolled steel.

    + Ability to read blueprints and execute precision welding.

    + 2+ years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel, aluminum, and cold rolled steel.

    + 2+ years of experience welding from blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experienced in custom welds in a job shop environment.

    + Familiarity with using fixtures and layouts for welding tasks.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean and organized job shop environment equipped with new machines. The facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working atmosphere. There is a high safety culture, and you will be part of a team of roughly 100 total employees on the first shift.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
