Job Title: Shipping Technician

Job Description

As a Shipping Technician, you will play a crucial role in the distribution of supplement products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling up to 300 packages daily. This position requires standing for the entire shift, lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds, and managing computer stations, including reading and writing emails using Microsoft Outlook. You will work in an FDA-approved clean room environment, emphasizing accuracy over speed.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack supplement products efficiently, handling up to 300 packages per day.

+ Maintain a high level of accuracy to ensure orders are correct and labels are properly made.

+ Operate computer systems to confirm orders and generate labels.

+ Scan and verify shipments using FedEx and USPS shipping systems.

+ Follow established Distribution Department procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

+ Empty two small carts per hour until proficient.

+ Maintain consistent attendance as part of a small team.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience in picking or packing in a warehouse setting.

+ Basic computer skills for order confirmation and label creation.

+ Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds.

+ High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

+ Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.

+ Problem-solving skills and basic math abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management software.

+ Basic knowledge of shipping processes with FedEx and USPS.

Work Environment

You will be standing for the entire shift in a clean room atmosphere, focused on accuracy and efficiency. The dress code is in accordance with clean room standards, and all necessary personal protective equipment will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Benicia, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
