    We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of a special event by providing exceptional support and assistance to guests and team members.     Responsibilities:

    • Greet event attendees warmly and assist with guest check-in to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

    • Prepare and assemble event items such as swag bags, decorations, and signage in advance of the event.

    • Manage the setup of displays, including sweets tables and patron gift bags, ensuring everything is organized and visually appealing.

    • Provide support in various event areas, including assisting with signage and decorations, as needed.

    • Answer inbound calls and address client inquiries in a thoughtful and friendly manner.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure the event runs smoothly and all tasks are completed efficiently.

    • Maintain a composed demeanor while interacting with guests, vendors, and team members.

    • Assist with the coordination of live music, photo booths, and other entertainment elements at the event.

    • Ensure all event materials and setups meet the organization’s standards and requirements.

    • Provide exceptional customer service during the event, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or event support roles.

     

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.

    • Detail-oriented demeanor and ability to interact positively with guests and team members.

    • Familiarity with event setups, including decorations and guest materials, is a plus.

    • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
