    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll functions using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) for our organization located in Gig Harbor, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, possess exceptional organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    + Handle payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies with efficiency, maintaining a high level of customer service for employees.

    + Maintain payroll system records, including employee changes, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholding updates.

    + Prepare reports detailing payroll outcomes and reconcile discrepancies between payroll reports and financial accounts.

    + Verify employee timesheets, imported data, and resolve issues related to hours worked, overtime, or PTO prior to payroll submission.

    + Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication of payroll updates and compliance issues.

    + Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to minimize compliance risks.

    + Manage confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.

    Requirements

    + Proven experience in processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) is required.

    + Familiarity with labor laws, payroll regulations, and tax compliance.

    + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other tools for payroll-related analysis and reporting.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interface with employees and teams.

    + Professional certification (e.g., CPP – Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus but not required.
