    Job Title: Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for our 3rd Shift team. This role involves manual labor, including consistent lifting of boxes or bags ranging from 35 to 50 lbs. The position requires attention to detail for weighing, packaging, and palletizing products, as well as completing necessary documentation accurately.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery on assigned production lines.

    + Lift and handle boxes or bags weighing 35 to 50 lbs.

    + Ensure product weight meets specifications and adjust as necessary.

    + Operate taping and automatic sewing machines for packaging.

    + Build pallets with finished products.

    + Complete metal detection and scale accuracy sheets hourly and post-breaks.

    + Assist Quality Control/Quality Assurance by collecting samples.

    + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and write to fill out production sheets accurately.

    + Capability to lift 35-50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.

    + Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be at least 5'5" to operate the machine due to the height of bag placement.

    + Experience with production, loading, machine operation, and general labor.

    Work Environment

     

    The production facility offers a dynamic environment with varying temperatures depending on the room. The Depo Room maintains a comfortable room temperature, the Panning Room is slightly cooler, and the Refining Room can warm up to 95 degrees in the summer. The facility is clean, well-organized, and features a pleasant break room with indoor and outdoor areas for relaxation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
