Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on a fleet of vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines and related systems.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on fleet vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
+ Perform maintenance on brakes, transmissions, and pneumatics.
+ Ensure effective fleet maintenance and repair of trailers and heavy equipment.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
+ Experience with preventive maintenance and fleet maintenance practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable using diesel laptops with software such as CAT, Cummins, Detroit, Bobcat, Ford, etc.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Gretna, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
