Plant Maintenance Mechanic I
Job Description
Join our team as a Plant Maintenance Mechanic I, where you will perform essential repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, as well as on machines and equipment. In this role, you will apply your skills in various maintenance trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical work, sheet metal fabrication, and welding to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities and on machines and equipment.
+ Work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
+ Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine necessary repair and maintenance work to prevent breakdowns.
+ Use hand and power tools effectively.
+ Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
+ Utilize blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

+ Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school degree/GED or equivalent.
+ Entry-level position requiring no prior experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
