Job Title: Bindery Operator

Job Description

As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and materials for production by reviewing job specifications and schedules. Your role will involve setting up and operating various machines, ensuring product quality, and performing routine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

+ Review job specifications and schedules to prepare for production.

+ Inspect inserts before, during, and after run time to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Read and understand job tickets for specifications and instructions.

+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks and maintain records of frequently used parts.

+ Operate and maintain cutters, including counting out samples.

+ Set up and use right-angle folder for production.

+ Set up and use trimming and perforating attachments.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience operating commercial folders and cutters.

+ Proficiency in machine operation and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to set up machines and perform maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply.

+ Experience with shrink wrapping machines and inserting machines is advantageous.

Work Environment

1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am

Overtime is voluntary and not mandated.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Edgerton, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr.
