    **Job Title:** CNC Machinist

    Job Description

We’re looking for a talented machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, producing high-quality parts from blueprints and specifications.     Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts with precision and efficiency.

    + Make necessary machine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets to maintain optimal performance.

    + Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure top-tier quality.

    + Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

    + Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

    + Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

    + Accurately document production data and quality checks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.

    + Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, and Mazak.

    + Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CNC setup, editing, and programming is a strong plus.

    + At least 2 years of experience using precision measuring tools.

    + Experience in machining and machine shop environments.

    + Skilled in troubleshooting and machine setup.

    Work Environment

     

    Our shop is temperature-controlled and thoughtfully organized, with some areas typical of a machine shop in terms of noise. The atmosphere is relaxed yet productive, making it a great place to focus and thrive. Work hours are Monday through Friday:

     

    + **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    + **2nd Shift:** 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

    + Enjoy regular overtime opportunities!

    Job Type & Location

    **This is a Contract-to-Hire** position located in **Machesney Park, Illinois** .

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
