Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The role involves using an airless spray gun to paint steel parts and structures essential for manufacturing industrial machinery. You will also be responsible for prepping parts by sanding and taping them off, as well as positioning parts for painting and assisting in moving them from the paint line to shipping after painting.
Responsibilities
+ Use an airless spray gun to paint steel parts and structures.
+ Prep parts for painting by sanding and taping off.
+ Position parts for painting.
+ Assist in moving parts from the paint line to shipping after painting.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of experience in industrial painting.
+ Experience with airless spray guns.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in spray gun operation.
+ Experience in paint preparation and industrial painting processes.
+ Skills in sanding and production tasks.

Work Environment
The position is based in an industrial fabrication shop environment where welding, fabrication, and machining of metal occur. It can be loud in some areas and is not the cleanest due to metals manufacturing. Regular work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
