Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Job Description
The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in managing material flow within our manufacturing department's warehouse and racking systems. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, tracking, and ensuring inventory accuracy to support production demands and overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain standardized inventory control protocols.
+ Ensure accurate real-time inventory updates using warehouse software.
+ Receive incoming supplies, materials, and equipment, verifying all details against purchase orders and completing necessary documentation.
+ Fulfill work orders by selecting and staging appropriate stock in designated production areas.
+ Conduct weekly cycle counts to validate data integrity in the tracking system.
+ Evaluate inventory layout and usage to optimize space and reduce waste.
+ Coordinate the preparation and transfer of items scheduled for recycling.
+ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse aisles.
+ Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Utilize Snap Tracker for inventory analysis and reporting.
+ Develop quality control standards and practices for finished goods.
+ Inspect completed products for accuracy, workmanship, and fulfillment of order quantities.
+ Confirm proper packaging of materials to ensure safe shipping and delivery.
+ Document and present monthly quality trends and findings.
+ Engage with suppliers through meetings, workshops, and product testing to uphold quality benchmarks on incoming goods.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in inventory control and management.
+ Experience with data entry, shipping, and receiving.
+ Ability to perform order pulling and stocking.
+ Competence in using RF scanners.
+ Experience in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with warehouse software for inventory management.
+ Capability to conduct inventory analysis and reporting.

Work Environment
This role is based in the warehouse and shipping/receiving area of our manufacturing facility. The environment may be dusty, and temperatures can rise during the summer months. Industrial machinery is in operation nearby, so noise levels may occasionally be high.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, Delaware
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
