Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be integral to the operation, ensuring smooth logistics by stocking products into designated locations or shuttling them throughout the facility. You will operate various types of equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and stock pickers. Your role will involve offloading incoming products from trailers and loading outbound trailers destined for stores or home delivery. This facility specializes in handling large appliances and televisions, specifically those 46 inches and larger.

Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and stock pickers after obtaining necessary certifications.

+ Stock products into designated locations within the facility.

+ Shuttle products throughout the building as needed.

+ Offload incoming products from trailers.

+ Load outbound trailers with products for store or home delivery.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in material handling.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.

+ Proficiency in loading and unloading tasks.

+ Experience in stocking and picking operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in moving and staging products.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic distribution and logistics environment on the delivery pad. The swing shift starts at 3 PM, with work weeks varying, but typically including Mondays and Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAN LEANDRO, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
