Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.

+ Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.

+ Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine and transmission, electrical and steering systems, suspension and brakes, air conditioning.

+ Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional service needs and estimated repair times.

+ Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Essential Skills

+ 2–3 years of experience as a Service Technician.

+ ASE Certification.

+ Must have own basic set of tools (assistance available if needed).

+ C or B level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Valid driver’s license.

+ Strong customer service and communication skills.

+ Basic computer proficiency.

+ Positive, team-oriented attitude.

+ Ability to learn new technologies and operate diagnostic equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Completion of a vocational automotive program (preferred but not required).

+ Clean driving record.

+ Strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized automotive shop, with 8-hour shifts from 7:45 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Moorhead, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
