    Position Summary

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented warehouse associates to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the flow of packages by identifying and clearing jams in conveyor systems and catch nets. You’ll conduct regular area walks to ensure systems are running smoothly and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a physically active role that supports the overall efficiency of our facility.

     

    **Note:** This role requires frequent climbing up and down ladders to access elevated conveyor systems. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Clear jams from conveyor belts and package catch nets

    + Climb ladders to access elevated conveyor areas and remove blockages

    + Perform routine walkthroughs to detect and resolve jams

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization using 5S standards

    + Assist with coordinating and ordering parts for maintenance needs

    + Support maintenance team with project-based tasks

    + Walk 3 to 5 miles per shift across the facility

    Required Skills

    + Basic mechanical and electrical repair experience

    + Ability to operate hand and power tools

    + Familiarity with blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting

    + Experience with pallet jacks and inventory handling

    + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

    + Must be comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders regularly

    Job Details

    + Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

    + Job Type: 3 month contract (end of January)

    + Pay Rate: $22/hour

     

    Shift Schedule

    Front Half of the Week

    + Days: Sunday–Wednesday, 5:30AM–5:30PM (Wednesday ends at 11:30AM)

    + Nights: Sunday–Wednesday, 5:30PM–5:30AM (Wednesday ends at 11:30PM)

    Back Half of the Week

    + Days: Wednesday–Saturday, Wednesday 5:30AM–11:30AM, Thursday–Saturday 5:30AM–5:30PM

    + Nights: Wednesday–Saturday, Wednesday 11:30PM–5:30AM, Thursday–Saturday 5:30PM–5:30AM

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
