Description We are looking for an experienced attorney specializing in intellectual property and licensing agreements to contribute to a dynamic team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a contract position that requires expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements related to innovative technologies. Candidates with a background in the biotech industry will have a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with intellectual property counsel to develop comprehensive licensing agreements for proprietary technologies.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.

• Provide expert advice on intellectual property matters, including licensing strategies and risk assessment.

• Conduct thorough research to address legal challenges in the biotech sector.

• Ensure all agreements meet regulatory standards and protect organizational interests.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business goals.

• Analyze existing licensing frameworks to recommend improvements.

• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations affecting intellectual property and licensing.

• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues related to licensing agreements promptly and effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in intellectual property law and licensing agreements.

• Strong knowledge of legal standards in the biotech industry.

• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to intellectual property.

• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active law license in good standing.
