Description
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Audit Staff member to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves conducting audits for government and non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and delivering high-quality service to clients. Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute audit engagements for mostly non-profit organizations.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure they adhere to relevant regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed work papers to document audit procedures and findings.
• Collaborate with clients to address and resolve audit issues effectively.
• Conduct reviews of financial records to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all audit activities are conducted within established timelines and budgets.
• Utilize audit software and other tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Provide clear and precise communication to clients throughout the audit process.
• Assist in identifying risks and implementing solutions to improve financial practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in auditing, preferably with non-profit or for profit entities.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines
