Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Administrator to join our team in Maplewood, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees while ensuring compliance with relevant tax and labor regulations. This position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent organizational skills to manage payroll functions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll for all employees, including those on hourly, salary, and commission-based pay structures.

• Maintain and update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.

• Verify the accuracy of timesheets, commission reports, and bonus calculations, ensuring proper approvals are in place.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Manage employee deductions, benefits, and garnishment processing within the payroll system.

• Prepare and deliver payroll reports for management review and external agency submissions.

• Collaborate with the HR team to confirm accuracy of employee data and benefit deductions.

• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.

• Support accounting functions with payroll-related journal entries and general ledger updates.

• Provide prompt and thorough assistance to employees with payroll-related inquiries. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, ideally within a dealership or multi-entity organization.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax reporting requirements.

• Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and employee support.
