Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for aCERCLA/RCRA Environmental Scientist/Engineerwho will beresponsible for implementation of technical scope involving a given area of expertise. This is primarily needed at assigned site(s) but can also involve matrixed support across the LMS complex. The position involves implementation of project and programmatic scope under limited supervision.

**Location(s):** Pinellas, FL
**Status:** Full-Time
**FLSA:** Exempt
**Hiring Range:** $65,000.00 – 80,000.00 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel 5-10% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Support Site Lead with technical support for remedy decision-making and programmatic strategy. CERCLA/RCRA sites are typically managed by a sitewide LTSP (e.g. Institutional Control Plan, Environmental Monitoring Plan, Site Operations Guide, etc.) that directs monitoring, inspection and reporting scope. Participate in annual site institutional controls inspections.
+ Support Site Lead with data management work scope. This includes development of sample plans and Quality Assurance Project Plans, data analysis, data validation, and reporting.
+ Provide timely contribution to Functional organizations for Contract Deliverables as requested.
+ Keep current with all required training.
+ Manage Records in accordance with Information Management requirements.
+ Maintain records in accordance with appropriate policies.
+ Provide technical input for communication with LM, regulators and stakeholders as needed.
+ Mentor and train junior staff.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Science related field.
+ 5 years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Valid Driver’s License.
+ No professional certification required.
Required Skills and Abilities
+ Technical expertise and experience with site environmental monitoring and data management plans and procedures.
+ Full understanding of site institutional controls, LTSM plans and procedures, and reporting requirements.
+ Excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form.
+ Broad range of expertise is needed, including records keeping, data management, and regulatory compliance.
+ Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
+ Technical expertise and experience within their area of responsibility.

Essential Physical Requirements
Medium: Work involves moving objects by exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an above-negligible amount and up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
