    The Siemens Electrification & Automation’s Systems

    & Solutions - Industry & Infrastructure segment is seeking a Business

    Development Manager for the North Region. The Systems & Solutions business is

    responsible for growth, and development of EA’s Product Portfolio, through the

    Construction Market & Distribution Channel.

     

    The product portfolio includes but is not limited to medium

    voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS), Pad-mount switchgear, Outdoor Circuit

    Breakers, MV Control, Low voltage motor control centers.

     

    We are looking for a Business DevelopmentManager, North Region

     

    **Region Covers:** New

    England, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania,

    Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

     

    In this position you will work remotely from ahome office. Preferred within the North Region

     

    The Business Development position has the responsibility to

    both support and drive profitable sales growth of EA (Electrification

    & Automation) division through EIS (Electrical Infrastructure sales) &

    CHN (Distribution Channel) teams. Involving AE (Application

    Engineering) teams should custom solutions become necessary

    Business Development & Sales Strategy:

    + Drive accountability and growth within EIS & CHN leveraging datacoming from Sales Operations.

    + Support sales teams to close projects inassigned region.

    + Understand regional dynamics on markets and opportunities and drive growth in the Core / Flow component of EIS.

    + Develop solution partners for applicable EAproducts & components. Product specialization for more than oneproduct.

    + Collaborate with IIS (Industry &Infrastructure Solutions) BDM team onopportunities that demand it.

    + Leverage Power Academy for sales training.Enable sales to quote standard solutions for certain portfolio elements viatraining and support.

    + Opportunity status follow-ups and report outs for key projects (>1m)

    Account Management & Support:

    + SupportSiemens EIS (Electrical Infrastructure Sales) account managers and agentswithin the electrical infrastructure sales channel.

    + Influencespecifications and drive towards Siemens preferential position

    + Workand sell collaboratively

    + Performcustomer presentations and conduct training sessions

    Organizational Leadership & Collaboration:

    + Actas business unit liaison

    + Guideoperational units through finance and internal department collaboration

    + Providemarketing advice and leadership

    + Createand manage budget proposals to ensure organizational effectiveness

    You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:

    _Basic Qualifications:_

    + BAin Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited university; orhigh school diploma with equivalent work experience.

    + 5+years of experience with the following:

    + Businessdevelopment / sales experience or intense product knowledge of pad-mountswitchgear

    + Athorough understanding of and experience in working with all types ofmedium voltage pad-mount switchgear is critical.

    + Effectivehands-on demonstration of the equipment.

    + Conductingproduct training to Sales.

    + Workingwith clients at executive, engineering, and operational level.

    + Makingexcellent presentations to customers is a must.

    + Beinghighly self-motivated, a self-starter, and can effectively work in anorganizational matrix environment.

    + Willingnessto travel 50% of the time including some international travel.

    + Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship

    _Preferred Qualifications:_

    + Bachelor’sDegree with Electrical Engineering background
