    Responsibilities

    Dry Creek Surgery Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Manager to oversee supply chain operations for our two operating rooms. This role is critical to ensuring surgical teams have the equipment and supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in operating room supplies and equipment, and a passion for organization and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage ordering, inventory, and supply distribution for two operating rooms.

    + Receive shipments, verify accuracy, and maintain organized storage systems.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.

    + Monitor and coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.

    + Ensure availability of disposables, instruments, and specialty surgical supplies.

    + Collaborate with clinical teams to anticipate and meet supply needs.

    + Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and audits.

    + Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

    Qualifications

    + Proven experience in operating room supply management or surgical materials coordination.

    + Background as a Scrub Tech or similar OR support role strongly preferred.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.

    + Familiarity with surgical disposables, instruments, and equipment.

    + Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.

    + Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer proficiency.

    + Highly organized and detail-oriented.

    + Self-motivated and proactive.

    + Comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment.

    + Strong understanding of OR workflows and supply needs.
