    This is a PRN position to work between the inpatient side at MMC and the outpatient facility at Traverse Heart and Vascular.

    What’s Required:

    + High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of college or hospital based Cardiovascular Program or Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, or completion of Allied Health Program approved by the AMA.

    + Must be a Registered Cardiovascular Diagnostic Sonographer (RCDS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

    + Must be able to do 2D Echocardiograms, M-mode, PW & CW Spectral Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, and Transesophageal echocardiogram on adults, with some experience performing pediatric echocardiograms. In addition, must be able to perform treadmill stress echocardiograms and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms.

    + Must have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience performing Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms and/or Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms.

    + Ideal candidate will have both Cardiac (Echo) Certification and Vascular Certification, however, will consider Echo only Certification. This position will entail performing diagnostic echo, stress testing, and TEE imaging.
