Analyze regulatory data and trends: Conduct detailed reviews of market rules, tariff structures, and stakeholder proposals to identify operational impacts and support informed decision-making.
Coordinate internal feedback loops: Facilitate cross-functional input on evolving SPP and FERC policies by organizing review sessions and synthesizing technical perspectives from Transmission, Generation, and Legal teams.
Develop clear and actionable summaries: Translate complex regulatory language into concise internal briefs and stakeholder-ready materials that enhance transparency and understanding.
Foster peer relationships across the SPP footprint: Engage with counterparts at other utilities and regulatory bodies to exchange insights, benchmark practices, and support collaborative problem-solving.
Contribute technical insights to stakeholder forums: Participate in SPP Working Groups and industry meetings as a technical resource, capturing key takeaways and identifying areas for internal follow-up.
Collaborate on interconnection agreements: Work with neighboring utilities to maintain and update transmission interconnection contracts, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and operational needs.
Maintain compliance records and audit readiness: Ensure documentation related to tariffs, interconnection agreements, and Standards of Conduct is current, organized, and accessible for internal and external review.
Support financial reconciliation and reporting: Assist in tracking transmission-related revenues and expenses, validating inputs, and preparing variance analyses to inform budget planning.
Manage updates to public-facing regulatory content: Oversee the timely posting of approved rates, policies, and compliance materials to OPPD¿s transmission website, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Build internal knowledge resources: Create and improve guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials that promote regulatory literacy and support team development.
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED
Demonstrated ability to successfully complete essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
