Position Description:
The Website Measurement and Tagging Lead will play a pivotal role in Lilly’s mission to deliver best-in-class web experiences that drive business growth.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the web measurement strategy and lead the execution of tagging frameworks, empowering teams with data-driven insights that guide optimization and elevate brand site performance.
You’ll partner with product teams, marketers, cross-functional leaders, and senior partners to assess site insights, uncover opportunities, and recommend improvements backed by actionable data. This is a high-impact position for someone who flourishes with turning complexity into clarity and shaping digital experiences that deliver measurable results.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Performance Analysis and Optimization
+ Lead weekly reviews of website and campaign performance using analytics tools, maintaining benchmarks, identifying trends, and developing integrated data strategies to report on key performance indicators and inform business decisions.
Collaborator Engagement and Collaboration
+ Collaborate with product and capabilities teams to translate measurement insights into actionable improvements, align strategies with business goals, and empower decision-making through effective collaborator management.
Reporting and Visualization
+ Build and present clear, compelling dashboards and reports for stakeholders, leading partners through measurement strategy processes and developing reporting requirements that distinguish website KPIs from broader business goals.
Strategic Planning and Measurement Framework
+ Champion ongoing measurement and rapid testing (A/B, multivariate) across digital touchpoints, proactively bringing to bear data sources and creating measurement plans to track progress toward brand and business objectives.
Tagging and Compliance
+ Develop and maintain strategic tagging frameworks to track goals and user interactions, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and supporting website launches through accurate measurement implementations.
Training and Support
+ Provide training, documentation, and expert consultation to cross-functional partners on measurement protocols and analytics processes.
Minimum Experience/Personal Skill Requirements:
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 5+ years of experience in website tagging and digital analytics, with expertise in tools such as Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Data Collection, Medallia, etc.
+ Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Additional Preferences:
+ Knowledge of digital marketing, including knowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Search, etc.), and digital analytics platforms.
+ Google Analytics Certification
+ Able to learn new systems and techniques quickly and effectively
+ Communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to non-technical cross-functional partners, while also communicating technical needs to developers effectively
+ Proven ability to navigate ambiguity
+ Self-starter mentality with drive to complete projects with limited direction, if required
+ Able to influence, collaborate and work effectively on a team
+ Proficient written and oral communication skills
+ Experience working inside a regulated environment
+ Capable of influencing without authority from peer level to VP level
+ Demonstrated Emotional Intelligence
+ Digital marketing experience with general knowledge across tactics with broad understanding of strategies and best practices at a high level.
+ Understand and support use of agile methodologies
+ Exemplify professional experiences working with diverse teams, populations, and cultures

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,500 - $137,500
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
