Job Description
We are looking for a **Training Specialist** to design, develop, and deliver IT training for the migration from Trapeze to HASTUS system. This position will be **full-time** and **hybrid in Washington DC.**
What You'll Do
+ Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver IT training for the migration from Trapeze to HASTUS system
+ Supporting Bus and Rail daily operations during the 24-month Trapeze to HASTUS upgrade initiative
+ Training Methods: Includes classroom sessions, CBTs (Computer-Based Training), seminars, and video resources
+ Key Systems: HASTUS and Trapeze for scheduling, bidding, and daily operations
+ Learning HASTUS: Trainer must acquire knowledge of HASTUS to provide ongoing support
+ Materials Development: Create presentations, manuals, videos, and CBT resources
+ Program Evaluation: Assess training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and metrics
+ Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts, Digital Modernization teams, and HR/Payroll to align training with organizational goals
+ Training Delivery: Must align with the timeline of the migration waves for Bus and Rail divisions
What You'll Need
+ Minimum of 10 years in technical training content development and delivery
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
+ Transit System Knowledge: At least 2 years of experience with Trapeze and/or HASTUS systems
+ Communication Skills: The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities
+ Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve training-related issues effectively
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
