Hiring Range: $59,217.60 - $79.206.40
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
+ Applies knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and analytical concepts in preparing monthly financial statements due the 5th business day of each month.
+ Uses analytical skills to recognize the need for additional entries/adjustments to properly state the financial position of the organization.
+ Completes other required financial schedules throughout the month as required.
+ Completion of Financial Reporting
+ Conducts proforma analysis and reporting
+ Prepares, understands, and maintains complex and significant journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and subsidiary ledgers
+ Produces budget-to-actual reports, investigates, and explains budget to actual variances clearly and as necessary proposes required adjusting journal entries. Documents, understands, and communicates root causes of accounting issues identified.
+ Prepares supporting documentation and required tax schedules for corporate tax filings of the hospital
+ Assists in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audit with external auditors.
+ Assists in executing company policies and compliance procedures.
+ May review the work of other Accountants as necessary.
Education, Training & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience required. Five (5) years preferred.
Advanced/comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting concepts, including consolidation accounting, joint ventures, and VIE (Variable Interest Entity) required.
Certifications / Licensure Certified Public Accountant preferred
