Job Requisition: REQ3977 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week Hiring Range: $83,699.20- $108,804.80 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: • Assists with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization • Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. • Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations. • Collaborates with physicians and staff as new techniques/procedures are developed and introduced into service. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services. • Responsible for ensuring all department activities comply with regulatory agency standards. • Responsible for ensuring prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: • Associate's degree required.
