Systems Administrator – Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
• South Seattle | Onsite | $35–$40/hr | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
• Occasional travel to Everett site required
A mid-sized manufacturing firm in South Seattle is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a fully onsite role offering competitive hourly pay and the chance to join a dynamic, hands-on IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide end-user support and troubleshoot IT issues via the Valence IT Help Ticket system.
+ Maintain and support desktops, laptops, Office 365, scanners, printers, mobile/office phones, and access to Valence applications.
+ Administer and support server infrastructure (virtual/physical), including user/group management, security permissions, group policies, print services, system monitoring, backups, and light SQL database administration.
+ Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and connectivity across internal and external systems.
+ Monitor IT performance dashboards and respond to hardware issues; assist with server builds and maintenance.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to execute IT projects across multiple sites.

+ VMware, vSphere, ESXi
+ SonicWall or Fortinet firewalls
+ PowerShell scripting
+ Linux/Unix familiarity
+ LAN/WAN technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, VLANs)
Qualifications
+ 3+ years of experience with domain user setup, group policies, and network account management.
+ 2+ years of experience with VMware environments and firewall appliances.
+ Strong Office 365 and MFA administration experience.
+ Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent scenarios.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
