    Identity and Access Management Senior Engineer

    MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

    As an Identity and Access Management Senior Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. You will play a crucial role in ensuring IDAM\ICAM services are functioning properly and securely.

     

    + Develop, implement and maintain industry standard IAM frameworks and solutions.

    + Create and maintain the architecture for identity and access management systems.

    + Ensure integration of IAM systems with enterprise applications.

    + Manage user identities and access permissions.

    + Define user access levels and enforce access control policies.

    + Monitor and maintain IAM tools and software.

    + Administer system accounts and manage role-based access controls (RBAC).

    + Adhere to security best practices and compliance regulations.

    + Establish and enforce IAM policies and procedures.

    + Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies.

    + Investigate and respond to security incidents related to identity and access management.

    + Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IAM.

    + Evaluate and recommend new IAM technologies and solutions.

    + Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline IAM processes.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Identity and Access Management Senior Engineer must have:

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in identity and access management.

    + Extensive knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g., LDAP, SSO, MFA, RBAC).

    + Strong understanding of security protocols and standards.

    + Experience with IAM tools (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Identity Manager).

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

    + Experience in a senior or lead IAM role.

    + Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or IAM-specific certifications).

    The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
