Job Description:
The Consumer Model Development & Operations (CMDO) team is part of Global Risk Analytics (GRA). It focuses on providing quantitative solutions to enable effective risk and capital management across the Retail and Global Wealth & Investments Management (GWIM) lines of business. The team places strong emphasis on delivering world class quantitative solutions for Front Line Unit (FLU) model owners and stakeholders through a disciplined and iterative development process.
This **Strategic Initiatives and Process Engineering Manager** role reports to the head of CMDO Strategic Initiatives Executive and will be responsiblemanaging the assessment, development, execution, and oversight of process improvement and transformation initiatives to achieve CMDO short and long-term strategic goals.
The candidate should have a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, strong leadership and storytelling skills, deep process design skills, intellectual curiosity, experience managing prioritization and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and flawlessly.
Responsibilities:
+ Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
+ Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
+ Understands, builds, improves and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
+ Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
+ Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
+ Strong ability to communicate with executives, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency across initiatives
Required Qualifications:
+ 5-8 years of experience in Process Engineering, Business Analytics and Project Management & Support
+ Transform complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides. Strong data visualization and design, and storytelling abilities.
+ Engineers solutions to complex problems in support of performance plan objectives to resolve issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, effectiveness, quality, and sustainability
+ Demonstrate intellectual curiosity. Ability to read and understand complex matters, anticipate risks and summarize key information.
+ Ability to overcome obstacles and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
+ Experience developing content that enables C-suite leadership alignment and decision making
+ Strong communication skills: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally and feel comfortable delivering insights and recommendations to senior management
+ Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
+ Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency. Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
+ Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
+ Ability to navigate in a highly-matrixed environment
+ Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
