KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
+ Reconcile loan balances and resolve discrepancies with borrowers, investors, or internal teams.
+ Coordinate with internal departments (underwriting, asset management, legal, accounting, loan servicing) to ensure servicing continuity.
+ Maintain accurate loan records and documentation within servicing systems.
+ Assist in borrower inquiries and provide excellent customer service to resolve issues efficiently.
+ Review audited financials, audit confirmations, payment records, and/or any balance spreadsheets Make corrections.
+ Identify the Funding Pool and associate with the correct bank accounts.
+ Review and balance audited actual principal, interest, and escrows.
+ Work with Asset Management to confirm escrows on new loans, including reserves.
+ Communicate with clients, borrowers, and management companies to obtain accurate information
+ Track a monitor portfolio over multiple databases and systems.
+ Inform management company of new servicing process via blast and letters
+ Develop reports to compare pre- and post-migrations balances.
+ Review Unapplied Cash and recommend how to clear unapplied cash balances per loan.
+ Validate and submit monthly reports to leadership § These reports should include loan balances broken down by principal, interest, escrows, and reserves.
+ Additional reports should include fully reconciled investor and pool balances.
+ Review monthly and year end reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in loan servicing, affordable housing real estate, or related financial services field.
+ Prefer multifamily loan structures, servicing processes, and loan documentation.
+ Proficiency with loan servicing platforms (preferably BlackKnight, ICE, and/or Emphasys.
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL,HOURS,ENVIRONMENT)
+ This position is on a Time Limited basis for up 12 months, or until the completion of the project.
+ Hybrid work environment.
+ Standard business hours.
+ May require limited travel for property visits or borrower meetings.
PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Work is principally stationary, but the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
Must be able to perform office-related duties.
Must be able to operate office equipment.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and community agencies and other entities that provide services.
Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to perform essential job functions in an environment that will sometimes include increased levels of work-related stress.
Must maintain punctuality and attendance as scheduled.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Financial Examiner 1 (RCP110) or position equivalent; or four (4) years of professional job-related experience. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
