KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop integrations with specific SaaS applications such as; Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to efficiently and securely transfer data from various sources to a data mart or lakehouse.

• Transform and cleanse raw data into usable formats for analytics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Integrate data from multiple sources and platforms, both structured and unstructured, to provide a unified view of data.

• Administer and optimize databases to ensure data availability, performance, and security.

• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to identify and rectify data inconsistencies or anomalies.

• Work closely with developers, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide support for their data needs.

• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements in data engineering practices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, configurations, and processes.

• Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and contractors.

• Ensure that database, integration, and DevSecOps best practices are adhered to and ensure lessons learned are followed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred.

Experience: 3+ years direct work experience in a data engineering, analyst, software development or project management capacity.

• An understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.

• Awareness of common programming languages such as Python, Powershell, Java, or Scala

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MS-SQL)

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, CosmoDB)

• Awareness of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus

Travel: 0-10%

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54.00 - $65.00/hr.
