Construction Manager – OSP Inspection Oversight (Columbus, OH)

We’re seeking a hands-on Construction Manager to oversee crews of OSP Inspectors supporting active fiber optic deployments in the Columbus, OH market. This is a 100% field-based role—ideal for someone who thrives in the field, not behind a desk.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily inspection activities, ensuring crews are aligned with project timelines, safety standards, and quality expectations. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and project leadership, helping drive accountability and performance across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and direct OSP inspection crews across fiber deployment projects

+ Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety protocols, and client specifications

+ Conduct site walks, verify work quality, and escalate issues as needed

+ Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain project momentum

+ Provide daily reporting and updates on progress, issues, and resolutions

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience in OSP construction or fiber optic deployments

+ Proven leadership in managing field crews and inspection teams

+ Strong understanding of OSP construction methods, permitting, and safety standards

+ Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision

+ Valid driver’s license; company vehicle provided

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
