The MCAPS Business Planning, Strategy and Investments Finance team is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Azure to be part of the Segment Finance team focused team overseeing part of the commercial headcount worldwide portfolio and driving strategy and execution on headcount resource optimization analytics and fiscal year blueprint planning process. The selected individual will get to work in a highly collaborative, fast paced (and fun) environment to help drive strategy across all segments leading advanced analytics and develop KPI (key performance indicator) metrics to improve productivity and return on investments.

Responsibilities
+ Lead the Target setting, budget and forecast process including reviews across Engineering, Marketing and Sales organizations, providing clarity on timelines and deliverables across a large finance team to deliver sharp, compelling insights to numerous organizations.
+ Deep partnership with MCAPS sales team to shape go to market strategy and resoure productivity
+ Lead Demand and Capacity planning across the organization to help ensure there is adequate capacity in data centers to meet federal demand
+ Drive return on investment for all investments across the business
+ Drive governance and change management for hierarchies to support new launches and planning, including subject matter expertise on various cross functional hierarchies.
+ Ad-hoc strategic projects supporting Azure & Server Net business health.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel and the ability to synthesize insights from large datasets

+ This position requires verfication of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
+ OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Demonstrated cross group collaboration skills including the ability to communicate with executive management at Microsoft
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple inputs across many stakeholders, prioritizing the effort on main drivers
+ Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a very fast pace
+ Show propensity for learning, and demonstrate ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions
+ Executive level oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate complex analysis and models in a simple way
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
