The Sr. Application Development Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and programming support for our marketing and membership solutions team. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:Participating in system requirements gathering, design, coding and related technical tasks; including writing program specifications and design documents for relational databases and transactions services using a standard Project Life Cycle methodology Writing mainframe programs according to department standards and performing appropriate unit and systems tests Analyzing and tuning system performance Preparing process and other documentation as required Functioning as a Project Coordinator on small projects

Requirements

+ 5+ years of IT experience

+ Experience with Mainframe technology (VSAM, IMS, DB2)

+ Experience with Middleware technology (MQ preferred)

+ Strong testing and data design expertise

+ Open systems experience preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to communicate with business stakeholders in a manner that fosters an inclusive environment.

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $98,000.00 - $128,500.00
