             We are seeking applicants in Microsoft Research New England (Cambridge, MA) for full-time **Senior Researcher** positions in Artifical Intelligence(AI), Machine Learning (ML), and related areas. We welcome applicants who (i) are close to graduation, (ii) recently graduated from a relevant PhD program, (iii) are completing a postdoctoral position, or (iv) have comparable research experience. Responsibilities As a **Senior Researcher** in Microsoft Research, you will define your own research agenda, driving forward an effective program of basic, fundamental, and applied research. Qualifications Required** **Qualifications** **: + Doctorate (or currently pursuing) in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, or a related field + or equivalent experience + Research ability demonstrated by conference publications, journal publications,or preprints. Research Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
