Work You'll Do
As a Risk Transformation Analyst, you'll be part of a dynamic team supporting financial services clients in navigating risk and regulatory change. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced professionals, learn core methodologies, and contribute to the delivery of high-impact solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your consulting skills and gain deep exposure to risk management concepts in the financial services sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Assist in identifying, researching, and evaluating business, operational, regulatory, and enterprise risks for clients under the supervision of senior team members.
+ Support the implementation of enterprise-wide risk and regulatory programs by helping gather data, create documentation, and organize project materials.
+ Contribute to analysis of technology trends and changes such as cloud computing, analytics, automation, or AI/ML, leveraging research and teamwork.
+ Participate in process improvement, risk assessments, controls testing, and operating model design assignments by preparing materials, assisting in testing activities, and providing general project support.
+ Prepare draft work products, including findings, presentations, and documentation, with attention to detail and input from senior team members.
+ Engage in industry research and maintain awareness of current market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to bring new insights to the team.
+ Build foundational consulting and client service skills through collaborating with colleagues and supporting internal project initiatives.
+ Demonstrate openness to feedback and eagerness to acquire new skills by seeking coaching and mentoring from senior colleagues.
+ Contribute to team discussions and thought leadership efforts as directed.

Required
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
+ Up to 2 years of hands-on experience delivering projects or services within the Canadian banking sector (internships, on-campus work, or relevant academic projects count).
+ Basic knowledge of risk, compliance, or regulatory topics from coursework, internships, or other relevant experiences.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
+ Proven ability to work effectively in diverse teams and quickly learn new concepts.
+ Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
+ Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on client/project needs.
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred
+ Internship or project experience in risk management, banking, capital markets, or regulatory projects.
+ Familiarity with risk types (credit, liquidity, operational, compliance, market, etc.) is a plus.
+ Exposure to industry regulations (such as Dodd-Frank, FRB, CFPB, OCC, FINRA, SEC) through coursework or internships is valued.
+ Demonstrated interest in technology trends (cloud, AI, analytics) in financial services.
+ Proficiency in data analysis tools, Excel, or basic process mapping is a plus.
