THE POSITION

Your contributions as a Maintenance Repairman 1 will be vital in ensuring the operational efficiency of the buildings, machinery, and equipment at the Montour County Roadside Rest F acility. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 1, you will conduct semi-skilled maintenance and repair work in the building, mechanical, and electrical trades throughout the Montour County Roadside Rest Facility . Specific duties will entail a range of custodial assignments , snow and ice removal as necessary, grounds and lawn maintenance, leaf collection, and assisting with plumbing and electrical repairs associated with the facility. In addition, you will perform minor tasks such as blade sharpening and belt replacements as needed for snow removal and mowing equipment. Detailed records and logbooks must be maintained in order to track the status and completion of tasks and projects at the rest area.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Work Location:Montour County Roadside Rest, Interstate 80, sites 35 and 36, mile marker 219.5 Westbound, Liberty Township, Danville.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades ;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirements:
+ This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
