             Shipping/ Production Associate Supply Chain & Logistics Houston, TX, US Pay Rate Low: 16 | Pay Rate High: 16 + Added - 27/10/2025 Apply for Job Shipping Production Worker - Hours: 8-5pm M-F - Pay: $16/hr - Location: Houston, TX - Terms: 6 month contract-to-hire Job Summary: The Shipping Production Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our outbound shipments. This position involves a combination of production, shipping, and kit assembly. The ideal candidate is a reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality. This is an on-premise position. Primary Responsibilities: • Assemble goods on production lines according to specifications. • Monitor the production process and report any issues to the supervisor. • Carry out essential quality and testing checks to ensure product quality. Pack goods for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling, including pallet wrapping. • Assemble and pack outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Maintain accurate records of shipped items outbound and inbound, as required. • Neatly store goods and raw materials properly in designated areas, including current stock and procurement shipments. • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the inventory supply • Report any areas of clutter, unsafe conditions, or cleanliness issues to appropriate personnel. • Assist in general tasks, including cleaning and organizing shared spaces, as needed. • Handle multifaceted tasks within a fluid environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and projects as needed. • Document processes thoroughly, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for all team members. • Other Shipping duties as assigned including assisting the receiving team with pallet deliveries. Skills: • Punctuality and reliability. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to complete assembly line repetitive tasks efficiently. • Good communication skills. • Flexibility and adaptability. • Commitment to safety and quality. • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to approach problems analytically, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. • Solid foundation in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ability to work with SOP documents effectively. • Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to effectively document processes and present them to others. Required Qualifications: • Must be fluent in English. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods at a time. • Must be able to work extended hours, weekends, and some holidays.
