    Job Summary

    Performs basic cleaning duties and specific custodial functions which includes, removing trash, recycling, removing trash, recycling from office, and break room areas. Dusts, cleans restrooms, sweeps floors, operate a floor scrubber general cleaning / janitorial tasks and other specific requirements of the client’s business segment. Including minor maintenance such as changing filters, belts, changing bulbs, landscaping / snow removal, and escorting vendors. Eyewash inspection, emergency light inspections, and a monthly fire extinguisher inspection to be performed at multiple locations. Must always work in a safe and professional manner

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Remove trash and recycling from designated areas

    + Vacuum carpeted office spaces

    + Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers

    + Clean breakrooms and restrooms

    + Manage vendors during on-site visits

    + Perform routine maintenance tasks including fire extinguisher inspections, bulb and filter changes

    + Assist with landscaping and snow removal as needed

    + Ensure safety compliance through inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, etc.

    + Complete basic administrative tasks related to maintenance operations

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

    + 0–3 years of relevant experience

    Skills & Abilities:

    + Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including safety policies and procedure manuals

    + Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence

    + Comfortable presenting information in individual and small group settings

    + Able to operate basic custodial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, and floor buffing machines
