    Job Title: Secure Site Logistics Coordinator

     

    Type: Contract

     

    Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

    Overview:

    The Logistics need at our client is a role responsible for the daily execution and coordination of outbound shipments via tank truck and various auxiliary modes (rail and barge). This position ensures all shipping documentation, inventory records, and carrier communications are executed accurately and compliantly.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare BOLs and distribute copies to carriers and security guards

    + Dispatch truck orders daily

    + Resolve daily dispatch issues

    + Assist in resolution of customer complaints

    + Resolve any discrepancies with freight bills, tank trucks, etc

    + Backup Rail-Barge and P&I Traffic Clerks

    + Maintain shipping files

    + Prepare after hour BOLs

    + Complete inventory moves in SAP

    + Complete goods issues of shipments in SAP

    + Maintain daily truck schedule in the monthly spread sheet

    + Communicate to customer service delivery issues

    + Work with customer service to accurately schedule truck shipments

    + Reconcile daily shipments in SAP

    + Resolve after hour issues as they arise

    + Communicate to carriers changes in procedures

    Requirements:

    + Must have GED

    + MUST have SAP experience

    + Must have at least 1 year (ideally 2) years experience

    + Must be able to lift or move objects up to 10lbs. Regular sitting and use of hands for detailed work are required with occasional standing, walking, reaching, or kneeling. c lose vision is necessary for tasks such as data entry, documentation and material handling

    + TWIC Card holder
