SUMMARY
UMEC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Logistics Director to lead the development and execution of supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods and services across all projects. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking logistics professional with a strong grasp of industry trends, regulatory standards, and innovative supply chain solutions. Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Design and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and logistics processes
+ Continuously monitor and enhance logistics performance metrics
+ Oversee inventory management and warehouse accuracy
+ Track transportation costs and ensure delivery quality
+ Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
+ Develop and enforce logistics policies and procedures
+ Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain leadership
+ In-depth knowledge of logistics systems, processes, and compliance standards
+ Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
+ Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
+ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
+ Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
