Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations at Papa Johns provides tactical leadership and operational management to ensure the efficient execution of Warehouse, Distribution, Maintenance, and Production activities within assigned Quality Control Centers (QCCs). This role supports the QCC leadership by directly managing daily operations, driving inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely order fulfillment aligned with company standards and objectives. The Sr Manager works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold service excellence, maintain optimum inventory levels, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reinforce Papa Johns' commitment to quality and reliable product availability.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

+ Implement supply chain strategies that support business growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency within assigned QCCs.

+ Manage daily Warehouse, Distribution, Maintenance, and Production operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and timely deliveries to stores and franchisees.

+ Supervise, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all operational areas.

+ Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and support corrective actions as needed.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and food safety standards throughout the supply chain and QCCs.

+ Drive process improvements using Lean principles, automation, and technology to enhance accuracy, service levels, and cost controls.

+ Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and store operations to align supply chain activities with organizational goals and market needs.

+ Support budget management for supply chain and commissary operations, assisting with cost control and service excellence.

+ Maintain robust inventory management processes to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.

+ Participate in incident response and crisis management efforts related to supply chain disruptions to maintain business continuity.

+ Help build strategic relationships with vendors, transportation providers, and external partners to support service levels and growth.

+ Assist with capital projects and major initiatives involving warehouse expansion, automation, and process transformation.

+ Promote best practices in safety, sustainability, and waste reduction throughout warehouse and distribution operations.

+ Regularly evaluate QCC operations to identify opportunities for standardization, synergy, and scaling successful processes.

+ Communicate operational insights and recommendations to leadership to inform decision-making and support strategic priorities.

+ Stay informed on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting supply chain and warehouse management.
